General
We coordinate tank container flows within Europe, combining road, rail and ferry legs per corridor. Every movement is planned and monitored from our operational coordination centre in Diest.
Tank containers from 25,000 to 35,000 litres for bulk liquid chemicals, both ADR and non-ADR: 35,000 L tanks with or without baffles or with electrical heating, 32,500 L tanks with baffles or in a 3-compartment layout, highly insulated 30,000 to 33,000 L tanks for hot products, and 20 ft tanks of 25,000 to 26,000 L for heavier products. Equipment is available through our transport services and, when units are free, for rental.
No. NWM Europe has no trucks or drivers of its own. At every location we work with fixed, exclusive partners who understand the local situation and make sure everything is handled correctly.
Yes. We handle both ADR and non-ADR liquid chemicals. Share the UN number and product data sheet with your request and we confirm the right tank type, routing and handling requirements.
Our operations team answers within one business day. For urgent road movements within Europe, contact us with the route and product and we give you an answer the same day.
The product (with UN number if ADR), volume or number of tank containers, whether it is a spot order or a regular flow, pickup and delivery locations, required timing, and any heating or cleaning requirements. The more complete the request, the more accurate the first quote.
Yes: that is the core of our offer. One operations team plans transport, buffer storage and heating at terminals across Europe, and tank container rental as a single integrated flow.
Intermodal
Per corridor we weigh transit time, cost, reliability and your delivery window. Where rail or ferry matches your schedule, we shift the long leg off the road; where it does not, we run direct road transport instead.
Yes. We handle both ADR and non-ADR liquid chemicals. Share the UN number and product data sheet with your request and we confirm the right tank type and routing.
If a transport is delayed at departure or en route, our team informs you about the possible alternative routes. Where needed, we also arrange backup by road transport within an acceptable timeframe.
Road
Contact us with the route and product: for transport within Europe you get an honest answer the same day. For flows within Belgium and neighbouring regions, short-notice pickup is often possible.
At loading points, plants and terminals across Europe. First- and last-mile work around intermodal terminals is a core part of the service.
Yes, and we actively suggest it when volumes and schedules make rail or ferry the better option. The switch is handled by the same team.
Storage & Heating
Share the product details and UN number with your request. We confirm per product which terminals and permits allow it, and propose an alternative when something does not fit.
We agree a target temperature and lead time per product. Units are connected to heating in time, so the cargo is at the right temperature when the truck arrives, not hours later.
Storage is designed as part of an integrated flow, which is where it adds the most value. Standalone storage is possible depending on capacity: ask us.
Rental
Terms are flexible and agreed per request, depending on which units are free in our planning. Tell us the period you have in mind.
Responsibilities are set out clearly in the rental agreement, including condition reports at handover and return, so there are no surprises at the end of the term.
Yes. Rental combines naturally with our intermodal and road transport, storage and heating, so one team plans the equipment and the flow together.
